Once goals have been set and a plan has been made, a business must effectively track their progress to assure actions will be completed. Building on the Roundtable’s January event focused on sustainability planning, this event will focus on measuring progress to meet the sustainability goals outlined within these plans. Tracking progress using metrics, key performance indicators if you will, can range depending on a company’s sustainability goals, industry, and their stakeholders’ considerations. With proper understanding of the applicable tools and metrics a business can effectively communicate the status of their sustainability journey to both clients and stakeholders, helping to create a transparent flow of information.

This Workshop Will Address

Which metrics are most applicable to understanding a business’s sustainability journey and how these metrics should be used for benchmarking, adjusting baselines, etc. There will be an emphasis on defining metrics to better track and improve a business’s role in equity and inclusion in the workforce.

The need for transparency in the business space, with discussions on common barriers/challenges business’s face and strategies to overcome these issues.
