Explore the Renovated Buffalo Botanical Gardens

Join SBR and Wendel for a free, exclusive, members-only hardhat tour of the historic transformation to the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens. 

Sustainability is one of the core tenets of this project with the building and systems design tackling both operational and embodied carbon. The project encorporates efficiency strategies, fossil fuel free systems, on-site renewables, and low carbon materials. Extensive new landscaping strategies increase carbon sequestration, manage stormwater, and reduce typical irrigation needs, while increasing educational opportunities.

This is an active construction site, all tour attendees must wear close-toed shoes and clothing that may get dirty. Proper PPE will be provided.
