The New Normal – Preparing for climate change impacts on supply chain management

November 15, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Business supply chains involve a web of third parties, including product distributors, service providers, manufacturers, contractors, and logistics firms that store and move materials.  All of them are dependent on their own infrastructure, transportation and supply networks.  When climate change or extreme weather impacts a part of your supply chain, the domino effect can ultimately impact your ability to provide products and services to your customers.

So what are the risks today and in the future? How can your business prepare for sudden environmental shocks and slow on-set disasters? How do you know if your suppliers are prepared? How can you detect supplier issues?

The panel of experts will include both researchers and local businesses working to understand the risks and adapt to the new normal of supply chain management.
