With our 9th annual Summit concluded, we are so grateful to continuously provide a space to gain critical industry insights on a range of relevant sustainability topics, meet with industry leaders and share insights in smaller groups with facilitated networking discussions. We hope this event continues to inspire, connect and better equip our attendees to make meaningful progress during this decade of action!

Why Attend & What to Expect

Tap Into Local Sustainability Expertise:

Uncover a wealth of local sustainability expertise as you connect with regional and community leaders. Our keynote, moderators, and Engagement Session Stewards will facilitate an exchange of vital industry insights, while the event creates an opportunity to network with your peers and explore new partnerships with like-minded professionals who share your passion for sustainability.

Dynamic Sessions for Maximum Impact:

Our event format includes a keynote address from a nationally recognized sustainability leader and four engagement session tracks. This format is designed to inspire and motivate positive change while providing actionable strategies that help your business to recognize financial and environmental returns that sustainability creates. This year our Engagement Session themes include:

  • Storytelling: Uncovering the Value of your ESG Report
  • Building Trust Through Transparency
  • Driving Change and Building a Culture of Sustainability
  • Walking the Walk Together

Knowledge and Action Sessions:

In 2023, each engagement session track will feature both “Knowledge” and “Action” sessions. This approach ensures that professionals, regardless of what stage they are at in their sustainability journey, can walk away with valuable insights and concrete steps for implementation.

When and Where

Wayland Brewing Company

Our half-day event on Tuesday, November 14th, from 11am – 5:30pm, will be hosted at the inspiring Wayland Brewing Company whose history, vision, and renovation embodies our theme of transformation.

Wayland Brewing Company was built at a historic corner in the town of Orchard Park with parts of the facility dating as far back as 1806. Two existing structures, including a historic home, were preserved and updated, while two new structures were erected – a greenhouse-inspired “atrium”, which serves as a restaurant and taproom, and a standalone beer manufacturing and packaging facility. The owners transformed this historic site even further with the incorporation of sustainable manufacturing elements such as high efficiency steam heating and glycol cooling systems and the incorporation of water recovery and thermal recapture systems to reduce consumption and waste. We can’t think of a more motivating place for sustainable engagement and action!
