Paul McDonnell, AIA, Director of Facilities Planning, Design and Construction for Buffalo Public Schools
Paul oversaw the recent 1.5 billion dollar modernization program for the Buffalo Public Schools. His talk will be centered around sustainability strategies and implementation in existing and new buildings, with a concentration on preservation and reuse. Paul will showcase examples from Buffalo Public Schools and associated sustainability objectives and metrics.

11:00-11:15 – Welcome/SBR business
11:15-11:45 – Comprehensive Facility Assessments overview, an introductory presentation by CannonDesign FOS group.
The CannonDesign Facility Optimization Solutions (FOS) team will explain the process of executing facility condition assessments, starting from the pre-fieldwork phase, through deliverable development. A brief summary about capital improvement planning and preventive maintenance planning will also be included.
